Merry Christmas!!

I will probably take a little break from blogging until around January 3. Lots to do!!!! :) I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

Bind It All Baby!!!!

Just really had a ball doing these recycled candy books!! They will make some interesting little journals, scrapbooks, or grocery list books!!! I made them all with acid/lignin free cardstock. I mod podge some of them to protect them and added some glitter, bling and flowers. I used my new crop a dile to put a ribbon through the ends to keep all your thoughts secret!! My nieces will adore them!!!!

Little Book

This little book was so fun to do!!! I cut some fun pp out and mod podged them on the chipboard, then I sanded them and painted the edges. I added a silver ring and some ribbons. I will be added some fun pics to it over the holidays.

For me it is about being with my loving family, my sweet husband who I just adore, my hiper 5 1/2 year old boy who just lights up a room, and my tender sweet 9 month old who makes everyone smile. It's about being with friends who have been there for me through thick and thin.....You know who you are!!!!! I just want to say my life is pretty AWESOME right now and I am very thankful!!!

Started Making.......

Jewelry!!! I have made a bunch already and am giving as Christmas gifts!!! I had a blast doing it!!! I made all kinds of different colors with different little surprises in them!! I think I will have to get another room for all of my projects and crafts!!!!

I am Addicted!!!

Ok, I just had to make one more little album!!! I can't stop!!!! :) I think I will save this one for Valentines Day photos!!!!

Maya Road................

I am still loving Maya Road, especially these little birdies!!! I used Tim Holtz Crackle paint and some google eyes to make them come alive. I bought a gazzillion to use on my gifts this year for Christmas!!!

While Waiting For My December Kit.........

I worked on this little book!! I am not quite sure what I will do with it yet. I may put some small pics of C and J at Christmas time. I made 3 of them and had a ball!!! I finally got my December Kit in the mail yesterday and ripped it open!!! Michelle and Alison sent me some extra papers to make up for the delay!! How sweet!! I can't wait to work with the kit tonight and maybe post some pics tomorrow!!!

They had a ball and so did I just watching them!!!!! They have been friends since they were 2 years old. I hope they stay friends for life because one day I will show them these photos and eventually scrapbook pages!!!!!

WHEW!!!

It's over!!! DS's first time having a friend over to play!!! Thank the Lord my mom was able to help. You know with a 9 month old and all!!! We took them to Chuck E Cheese and they had a ball!!! They played for 3 hours!!!! Then we came back to the house and they jumped on the trampoline. I of course took pics and will be posting my LO's of the day!!!

OMG!!!!!! Got picked for the DT!!!!

YAY!!! I just got the cutest little invitation in the mail last night!!! I was a black tux with a pink shirt. Then the neck line had a pearl necklace. It also had the cutest corsage with sequins and fun funky stuff!!! Just my style!!! (Hee Hee)
I am so excited!! I have to call and accept my position and then there is a reception in January!!!! Fun Fun!!! I hope I do the position and Treasured Memories justice!!!!

December Already???!!!!

I can't believe it!!! It feels like just yesterday C was born and that was in March!!! Just got an email from my LSS and they said they have picked the 6 Design Team members!!! I am crossing my fingers!!!
Have to go to Walmart at lunch to pick up a few things that I forgot to get this weekend!!! I am almost finished Christmas shopping!!! YAY!!!

Almost Over

Wow this horrible mess at work is almost over!!!! After Friday it will be a done deal, Thank the Lord!!! I have been really praying about all of this. Once this is over, I can get back to myself and start thinking about Christmas!!! I love Christmas and everything that goes with it!!!

Saturday I invited one of my ds's friends to come and play. I will be taking them to the Pizza Place to eat and play and then back to our house for play and maybe a movie.

Anyway, I will be founding out about my LSS Design Team tryouts next week. I will get a letter in the mail with a yes or no!!!

YAY!!!! Holidays.......

I am soooooo glad it's the holidays!!! I need a break from my job for a while!!! If you know what I mean!!!! LOL!!!

Anyway, I will be scrapin' and putting up our tree this weekend!! I already have some presents wrapped and ready to go under the tree!!!!

Horrible Day!!!

Yesterday was a really bad day for me at work!!! I really think it is time for me to move on!!!! The position is going nowhere FAST!!! I have no creative outlet there!!! I get paid pennies for what I do and some have the same position and get paid the same but are EXCUSED for some duties!!! How fair is that???????

I just don't understand some people these days!!!! You do your best and then you get blamed for some things that are not directly your fault!!!!

We have a huge communication problem where I work. Either some things will have to change, or the programs will be really messed up.

I NEED to find something that I am good at and love. I have a college degree for Goodness SAKE!!!!

I feel much better venting here!!!!

I can't believe.........

that we have a week before Thanksgiving and only 6 more Saturdays to SHOP before Christmas!!!!! Where does the time go!!!!!????? It seems like just yesterday I had my dd and now she is 8 months old!!!!!

I can't wait to put up my Christmas tree. We usually do it the Friday after Thanksgiving. Then we all decorate it and then we go and get Starbucks and ride around to see if anyone has their lights up yet!!! So much fun and now it is our family tradition!!!

I love how my Owl Chipboard album came out!!! I am working on another animal and I can't wait unitl I am finished so I can post it here!!!!

I Know I am Late But.............

I got a Crop A Dile today!!! I am soooo excited. I was going to wait and give it to myself for Christmas, but I had to get it. I will be making some Christmas gifts with it.

I will be posting some fun stuff soon that I am in the process of making!!!

Have Not Been Bloggin' Lately!

I just have not been in the mood!! Finally last night I scrapped!!! This time change has really messed me up with posting my work at AMM!!! I can't take my pics when I get home from work because its too DARK!!!
So, I don't really feel like doing a thing. I guess I will have to start taking my photos of my work on the weekends and post hera and at AMM on Mondays!!

Can't Wait to Distress!!!

I just went to my LSS and bought Ranger Crackle Paint!!! I can't wait to use it!!! I wanted the red, pink, and green, but all they had was blue. :( But she will be getting more in soon!!!

I have been buying soooooo much scrapbooking supplies that I really nead to slow down and use them!!!! I think I will give myself 1 month to not buy any scrapbooking supplies. If I need adhesives I will get that, but I am sooo going to challenge myself!!! I have been spending a fortune!!!! URRRGGGHHHH!!!

I am so excited!!! Lisa Pace asked for my Maya Road Altered Box and Scallop album to be posted on their Blog!!! It is now up!!! I will be put in a drawing for a RAK!!!! It is such an honor!!!! I have told everybody....I think TWICE about it!!!!

Right now I am sooo into Clear Acrylic Stamps!!! I am digging me some Pink.Sugar.Pop stamps!!! I stumbled upon this website and I am in love with all of there stuff!!! It is soooooooo Freakin' CUTE and It makes me happy just to look at all of there products!!

Ok.............I started creating my Christmass gifts(A SURPRISE) for my student workers. Last night I worked on my first one and it came out soooooo cute. I just ordered 14 more to do. When I am finished with them I will post the pictures here!!!

Finished My LO!!!!

Finally finished my LO! I think I am happy with it, But I keep looking at it and I start thinking its too busy. Well, I think I will turn it in tomorrow so I won't want to change it anymore!!! I hope its not too busy for their taste!!!!!

Working Hard on DT Tryout!!

I have been working for 3 days on my DT LO!! I think so far I am happy with it, but tonight I will make a few additions to it.

My LSS just got some new chipboard in from a company called Buzz and Bloom. It is awesome!! I bought the Botanica 'C' Alpha and it is huge and I love it. I also bought the alphabet and the chinese tree. I can't wait to CREATE with it!!!

First TOOT EVER!!

OMG!! Lisa Pace contacted me to feature my Maya Road altered box and mini album on their blog!!! I can't believe it!! I almost fell out of my chair. I just saw the e-mail from 5 days ago!! I hope its not too late!!! Say a Prayer!! Anyway what a great start to a Monday!!

I am SOOO Scrapin This Weekend!!!

I have to work on my LO for the DT Tryout at my LSS!!! I just ordered the Christmas Limited Edition Kit at AMM!!! It is gorgeous!!! I can't wait to play with it and star at it when I get it in!!!!!!

I just ordered the cutest clear checkbook covers for my student aides for Christmas Gifts!!! I think the website is www.memorypurses.com!!! I think I bought the last 5. I am going to decorate them with cute pp and embellishments and put their initials on them with my cricut!! Then inside I will give them a gift certificate or just add a little cash in them!!!

I can't wait to get them in they are soooo cute. They even have the memory purses that you can decorate the outside of them!!!!

Almost Friday!!

Ok, so I decided to tryout for my lss Design Team. I have a whole month to come up with a 2 page lo. They give you the pictures, so everyone has the same pics. I have some ideas..........but I am not sure. I think I am going to sketch it out. I really want it to come out nice and be something that I am proud of. Even if I don't make it, I want to know I did my best!!

So Glad its almost Friday!!!!!!!!!! :)

It's Sunday and wishing it were Friday!!

Well, got some scrapin' done this weekend, but not what I wanted. But that ok!!! I went to the mall and got a manicure. It was fun doing something for myself!!!I am doing Nutri System and I've already lost 5 pounds!! I am so excited!! I feel great too because I am taking care of myself and exercising!!! The meal plan is great and you don't have to worry about what you will b eating. That is the good part. Happy Sunday.

Bathroom Remodeling!

Still another weekend remodeling our master bathroom. I am excited, but its just a mess right now. I can't wait until its finished. It's been 3 weeks since we started and the man we hired can only come on the weekends!! Yuk!

I started buying Christmas presents for DS and DD!! I like to start early because I do not like the rush and standing in lines at the last minute.

I soooo need to water my garden when I get home from work, I have no Green Thumb!! But I am trying!

I can't believe DD is going to be 7 months already!!! And DS is going to be 5 years and 7 months!!! Gosh, time flies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Friday!

I am so glad it is Friday!!! I will probably be working on my big garden this weekend. I am going to try to do a little scrappin', but I think I am a little burnt out!!! I have been double scrapping lately!!!

Garden

I am so excited!! My sister came in this weekend and she helped me fix up my small garden!!! I just put alot of greenery for now and later I will add some white pansies!!!

We finally got started on our master bathroom. We are remodeling it. The sheet rock is up and floated. Next weekend they will put in our shower and tile. FINALLY!!!!

Happy Monday

Well it was a great weekend. Got a lot of scrapin done. I did a little chipboard album about Carolyn's little world. I loved doing it so much that I am working on my second one!!!
Got in touch with some old friends from highschool. I have not spoken with them probably in 15 years!!! IT was so nice to hear from them. They sent pictures of their families too. I hope to stay in touch with them!!

Gotta get to work yuk....

Doctor!!

I took C to the doctor yesterday. She had to get 3 shots!!!! :( I told the nurse that I just could not watch. She cried and the minute I picked her up she stopped. That made me feel good. She is just soooo tender, that it breaks my heart to see her in pain. I just love her and J SOOOO MUCH!!! Its almost time to get off of work, thank goodness! My smile starts the minute I get in my car and grows bigger as I get closer to home. I love my home life so much and I am so blessed to have such a loving and wonderful husband who makes me so happy, and 2 BEAUTIFUL children.

Movies In the Park

This weekend we are taking the children to see ET in the park. We have not done this yet, but I have heard it is so much fun. I am not sure if you sit in your car or bring a blanket and have a picnic. Its at 8:00 on Saturday evening.

Jacob will be going over to his friends house Saturday for the first time!! I am a little nervous, but I trust the mom. J has been friends with him since they were 2 years old!!!

Will probably be scrappin' this weekend too!!!!

I can't believe its been 6 years!!! Last night I watched a show called, "The Falling Man". It was very sad. It was about finding out about the life of a man who was photographed falling from the twin towers on that fateful day. Its hard to believe that these people, our friends and neigbors, went to work that day like every other day not even thinking that they would be falling (jumping????) from the towers. It was a very sad day!!! It won't be forgotten. I just want to say that I am glad to be an American!!!

Sunday Sunday!!!

Well I finished my Layouts for the DT Spot at AMM!!! I am truly pleased. I did my best!!! So, all I have to do now is send them in and wait.................YUK!!! I do not like waiting, I have no patience!!! But it will be a good wait, because I will keep myself busy by scrapbooking and checking the boards. Oh and did I say I was addicted to the boards at A Million Memories!!! Thats the first thing I do in the mornings!!! LOL!!!

So I took the day off today....SICK Day!!! Me and Carolyn Scrapped all day. We had a blast. I am gearing up for a try at a Spot on A Million Memories Design Team. So I did my altered project today. I think I am pleased with it. I need to do 2 layouts, but I am trying to get the right pics. I really want this badly!!!! I just have to think positively!!!!

Rainy Day

Its raining today in good ole Lafayette, Louisiana!!! Yuk. But at least its almost Friday. I plan on getting a lot of scrapping done this weekend!!! I might try out for the design team for A Million Memories. I will have to get my layouts together tonight and figure out what I will do!!!

September Kit **A Million Memories**

OMG!!!!! The September Kit is Awesome at amillionmemories.com !!!!! I got it in yesterday and did this LO last night because I could not wait to dig into the yummy stuff!!! It is soooo much fun being a part of this kit club!!! It's like Christmas every month!!! The people there are soooo nice and supportive. For me, the club is making me a better person and a better scrapper!!!!

I Can't Believe it!!!!!

I cannot believe it!!!! I got Layout of the Day at A Million Memories!!!! I have it down below. It is a paper box I did at our local scrapbooking store, Treasured Memories, (Paula's Class)!!!! It is made out of 20 papers including the little book that goes inside!!!! I had a blast making it!!!! Just wanted to share in this fun POSITIVE thing in my life!!!!!

Scarry Movies

My DH and I went to see the movie Holloween. It was very graphic and a little disturbing. As we sat down in the theater, we turned to our right and there sat a 4 year old boy with his mother!!!! We could not believe it!!!!! The language was bad enough yet along the horrible images!!!! I just don't understand people sometimes. And the funny thing about it was she covered his eyes during the sex scenes but not during the horrible graphic bloody parts!!!!!! And we wonder why some children act the way they do these days!!! And to think my son and daughter have to go to school with these children!!! I would never allow my children to view such horror!!! I even had nightmares!!!!! I just had to share this because it really bothered me!!!

BIG Sunday

Well, my husband finally did it. He trimmed our neighbors tree that was on top of our roof and in our driveway. Yikes!!!! But he could never park his truck. So he chopped the limbs!!! Oh Well, they should have cut it down!!!

Was so tired today, took a 3 hour nap!!! Yesterday we took our children to America's Pizza Place. They had a ball.

TGIF!!!! I am so glad its Friday and we get Monday off!!!! Yah!! I think I will clean, scrap, go to the movies, get my nails and toes done, take lots of pictures of my baby chicks and RELAX this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Sweet DD is out of baby food.....gotta go to WM!!!!! I have been seeing the flower crochet sb embellishments and I think they are at WM. I think I will pick some up when I go.

END Of a OK Day!!

Well thank goodness Monday is over!!! Whew!!!!! I am looking into getting an Apple iPod. I really want one place to store all of my photos. I also want to be able to download some movies. How fun is that!!!!! Well, time to get off of work and pick up the little ones!!!

C woke up at 5:00 this morning crying.....needed a diaper change!!!! So, now I am up. Already had my 2 cups of coffee and ready to go. But, everyone is still sleeping and C went back to sleep. So, here I am on the computer again. Gotta go to WM this morning......Seems like I live there...sigh.

Really want to scrap today so that I can post some new layouts in my new blog!!!

NICE DAY

It has been a good day. My sweet C is sleeping in her crib and sweet J is at his BB's while I am playing on the computer and updated my blog!!! I am so glad I had time today to really clean my house. I feel much better about it. I am a little OCD about the whole cleaning thing though!!!!! I guess that could be a good thing.

Today

Well, Today was a good day. We only have to work until 12:30 on Fridays. Thank goodness!! I am kinda getting bored with my job. I think I need something a little bit more me. Which I guess would be a job a little bit more exciting and creative. I wish I could scrapbook for a living. Gosh!! That would be so much fun!!!
